Tagged and Graffiti Tagging...

One of my favorite games growing up in a small Eastern Washington town during the summers when we had nothing to do was tag!  So, I was tagged and now I'm it!  Here we go...

Erin over at Designer Me tagged me with the following eigh questions:

1. If your life was a movie, what movie would it be?
Oh boy, this is a toughey because my life is oh so boring up to this point.  But if my life COULD be any movie, it'd be While You Were Sleeping.  I loved Sandra Bullock's character in that movie, and to this day, it's one of my favorite Christmas time chick flicks I've seen.

2. Are you a morning or night person?
Night..definitely.  I'm the most productive between the hours of 8-10 pm...kinda like prime time television!  When I used to have to work late for work, I'd get a lot of work done after 5 pm...to make up for the goofing off I did during the morning hours.

3. What's the first thing you would do if you won the lottery?
The first thing I'd do if I won the lottery is to upgrade my dad's old Ford truck.  He has a Ranger and he's always wanted to upgrade it but just never had the chance to.  So I want to get him a nice MANLY truck!  Second thing, and most important, is to get the best hairpiece in the world for my mom.  You see, my mom has alopecea and she's lost about all of her hair.  She wears wigs now but none of them are comfortable.  I'd love to spend a ton of money to find her the best hair piece possible, even if that means traveling around the world to find it.  A woman's sense of self beauty has a lot to do with her hair, and my mom hasn't had a full head since her mid 30's.  It'd be great for her to feel confident in that area again.

4. If you could see any concert ever, what would it be?
If he were still alive, Michael Jackson.

5. Are you a sweet or salty food person?
Salt!  I have a huge salt tooth.  I'd much prefer chips over candy any day.  Chris actually worries about the amount of salt I take in a day...but I just can't help it.  I love it!

6. What is your favorite clothing purchase you've ever made?
My wedding dress.  I haven't worn it yet formally, but from the fittings I've had, I know I'll love wearing it more than anything I've ever worn in my life.

7. What is your favorite quote? Can be inspirational, funny, from a book, etc!
"Because I know in addition to holding each other close, we hold each other up. Because I know that everything we could ever possibly encounter...everything that could go wrong...wouldn't undermine or sway that one constant that we've both given to each other. And that's you and I are us and we."
This was from a card Chris had written to me during a tough time after moving back from LA.  I wasn't feeling totally happy with my job and one day while on the toilet of all places, found this card stuck to the wall!  :)  We've included parts of this card in our wedding ceremony as well.

8. What's your dream job?
If I could pick anything in the world to do and if I could miraculously give myself the talent to do it, I would be a wedding photographer.  I loved planning my special day and I love photography.  I'd love to relive weddings over and over again.  It's a beautiful thing and it'd be so great if I were the person to capture that happy moment in people's lives.

Phew...one down!  Robin over at California Dreams also tagged me with these:

1) If you could have any job in the world, what would you do and why?
Oooh similar question as Erin's.  Please see above question number 8.

2) Where is your favorite place to go for a girls trip?
For me, it was LA.  LA is not a romantic place to me, but it's a great and fun place to hang out with just girls.  There's enough to do with bars, restaurants, beaches, touristy spots.  You'll never get bored there.

3) Which ninja turtle is your favorite and why? (you can learn a lot about people from this question)
Michaelangelo!  He's so goofy and fun...like my wonderful hubby-to-be.

4) Which celebrity do you think would be a great best friend?
Drew Barrymore.  She seems really down to earth and she's been known to say that her friends are essentially her family since she came from a pretty bad family background.  I think she can be the type that'll always have your back and will help you out in tough situations.

5) Were you team Jen or team Angie?
Team Jen!  Although I don't hate Angie.  I just think being cheated on is something that's very hard to take, let alone having the whole world know.  I think Jen handled it extremely well, with such class.  I do think Angie overall is a better actress, but I wouldn't wish what happened to Jen onto anyone.

6) Name one hotter celebrity than Channing Tatum.
Hmm..this is hard cause Channing Tatus is pretty hot.  But I DO love Hugh Jackman.  He's older I know, but he'll always have a soft spot in my heart.  Ahhh...wolverine!

7) What do you order at Mexican restaurants?
If it's a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, I order the unusual stuff.  Like a beef tongue soft taco...or cow stomach.  I stick with soft tacos because that typically means the meat's seasoned well, with not a lot of fluff so I taste just the true essence of the taco.  I don't go for burritos or anything too sauced because then you lose its real flavor.

8) Describe your favorite amusement park ride.
Oh boy...I'm scared to death of amusement park rides.  But if I had to choose one that I least hate, it'd be the water ones.  Where you go really high and it drops into a pool of water.  I'm always afraid I'll fall out or die on a ride, so I avoid it like the plague.

YAY!  That was fun everyone!  Here's who I'd like to tag:

Aimee at all things aimee
Debbie at Dark Horse
Pamela at ginger girl
Courtnee at Moments of Whimsey
Chrissy at Passion for Fashion
Yi at Objects of Desire
Sammie at Oui Sammie
Lori at Lori's Looks

And here are my questions:
1. Who would you say is your hero?
2. If you were a topping on a pizza, what would you be?
3. Which Sex and the City girl do you identify with most and why?
4. What is your fondest memory of your parents growing up?
5. What part of your body would you say is your best feature?
6. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?
7. What's the best movie you've seen in the last year?
8. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Have fun girls!  I hope these won't be too hard for ya.

Also, I wanted to leave you girls with our guest sign-in book for our wedding.  It was such a long project but Chris finally finished it a couple of weeks ago.
Many of you that's seen my engagement pics know that we had one taken infront of a train posed head to head like the picture above.  Chris took that picture, blew it up, and cut out pieces of us into a stencil.  He then airbrushed us layer by layer onto the canvas.  The graffiti on the right side says "Cindi" if you turn your head to the right.  It then says "Chris" if you turn your head to the left.  It's hard to read, but I totally see it now.  Chris had to point it out to me.  Guests will be able to sign in the white negative space areas towards the left side of the canvas.  The idea was to make it look like a graffiti wall.  This, including many other touches we've personalized into our wedding is the reason why every single little detail has taken so long to complete.  :)  But it's SOOO worth it.

  4. Ummm... Cindi, that sign in wall is A-MA-Z-I-N-G! I had no idea Chris was an artist! Doe she do this stuff all the time? And uh... say i wanted one at some point (like for my 5th anniversary in october), how much would he charge? I wanted to do something really special for Dave but had absolutely no good ideas. So let me know! I'm interested!

Also, thanks for tagging me - i'll try and do mine tonight! :)

  7. Thank you, girls! I know, I'm super excited to have our guests sign messages on it. :)

Aimee - Chris would be more than happy to create something for you. All he needs to know are the specifics of what you want...like what picture...how big...what style you're looking for. You can email me at cindiwang@gmail.com and I can get you in touch with him. :)

  9. The sign-in board is such a wonderful touch for your special day -- especially because it was handcrafted by your husband-to-be!

And your answers about what you would do if you were to win the lottery are so touching. It's so easy to tell how much your parents mean to you.

Interestingly enough, I also used to drive a Ford Ranger -- in red, to be exact :). I traded it in because it would fishtail in the snow, but I will always have fond memories of it as my first car. The Ranger is pretty pint-sized for a pickup, so I can see why you want to get your dad something a little tougher!
