Six years ago, I bought a pair of black suede peeptoe pumps at Ann Taylor LOFT that I absolutely loved. They were so comfortable, yet fashionable at the same time. I loved it to pieces...and literally wore it to pieces. I wore it to the point where the metal nail inside the thin heel was coming out of the heel and every time I walked, I made a loud, unavoidable click-clacking sound. The right shoe fell victim to what I call "a hole lotta love" disease. You know, it's when you love and wear your shoes so much that the ball of the shoe actually has a hole in it. I tried to treat my girls, and brought them to a shoe repair shop but sadly, the cobbler told me my beloved peeptoes were beyond rescuing. I was so sad to have heard this news, sad enough to give my girls a proper burial service. So, into the garbage can they went at the corner of Market and 24th in Ballard Seattle...and into the cupcake store I went to eat my feelings.
Fast forward six years and I see this pretty baby on Ann Taylor LOFT's site:
