Anticipated a disappointment!!!
Good evening everyone! I just had to come online for a quick post. I was so looking forward to the Anticipation Heels arriving today and you can just imagine my excitement when I saw the UPS box at my doorstep. Usually the first thing I do when I get home is change out of my work clothes, but I didn't even do that. I went straight into the kitchen to get the scissors so I can open up the box. Boy...was I disappointed! Anthro sent me the WRONG shoe! They sent me the Renssaelar T-Straps which are still cute, but in a size 8 which I can not wear! In addition, I looked at the shipping slip that came with the shoes and it said "Leather bow drape heel, grey". Obviously the leather bow drape heel is neither the brown renssaelar t-straps or the anticipation heels. So, I'm confused! Something is totally screwed up at Anthro's fulfillment department. I looked at the original order confirmation I had and I wasn't crazy. I did order the Anticipation Heel! Ugh...now it's just a hassle to go to the store, return these t-straps and re-order the ones I originally wanted! I'm going to ask for free overnight or 2 day shipping because this is ridiculous! Thank goodness it's Friday and I've had a couple of drinks so I'm in a pretty good mood. Hehee...sorry girls. Just had to vent. Have a wonderful night!

oh no! sorry to hear about that Cindi. This has never happened to me before, and touch wood, I hope it never will.

Oh no!! What a bummer! You had me all excited about this too. LoL. I'm sure CS will rectify this properly, but oh, the anticipation!!
ReplyDeleteThis happened to me today, too!! I ordered something from a different store and a different item by the same designer arrived in the mail. What's even worse is that the same thing happened to me with the exact same item two months ago. They sent me a free shipping label via email and refunded me my money (including shipping), but it's so frustrating that this happened twice. And of course, my order history shows I ordered the correct item.

Oh no! I thought this post was going to be how you hated the Anticipation Heels, so I'm glad to hear it's not the case, but that totally stinks. I would definitely ask them to comp you overnight shipping. Hope you get your correct shoes soon! I'm dying to see them on you!
ReplyDeleteOh no! That's terrible! Have you tried calling the Seattle downtown location? Maybe they have the heels in stock? I know they carry some of the shoes.

ReplyDeleteI totally know how it feels to be super excited about UPS/Fed-Ex orders only to find out that the wrong item was delivered. I bet the shoes will be worth the wait! ps. TMI but, my middle toe is the tallest toe of them all, too!
ReplyDeleteOh that stinks! Definitely ask for free shipping to make up for it! My poor sister had the same thing happen to her on Endless TWICE. They just kept flat out sending the wrong shoes. First the wrong shoes were in the right box and then just the wrong box. I hope your shoes come soon!!
ReplyDeleteStinky stinky stinky! That's happened to me before earlier this summer. What kind of bummed me out was that CS over the phone was so matter-of-fact about the issue, like it happens all the time. Shoot, the return paperwork actually has "shipped wrong item" as an option. And what they originally wanted to do was either charge me again for a whole new order to ship me the right thing, or wait until the old stuff got back to them before issuing me an exchange - that's not what happened, but it sucks that it was what they wanted to do. Bummer!
ReplyDeleteWell that royal sucks! I agree that you do ask for free 2 day shipping if they don't offer it first hand. Receiving the wrong item is one of my fears when I shop online. =0(
ReplyDeleteA similar thing happened to me when I ordered the Mirasol wedges earlier this year. They sent the wrong size...it took three emails and a phone call to customer service to finally work it out. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteThat really stinks that Anthro screwed up bad enough to send the wrong shoe in the wrong size with the wrong description on the shipping slip. gah.
Now that totally stinks!!! What a let down! I sure how they give you free shipping and even something expedited. Let us know what they do!
